Prof. Ahmed Ebeid, FIBH dean was honored by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Sami Ghonimi - Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Benha University, after giving a lecture on the experience of the Egyptian-Japanese University in the field of education and scientific research.

A fruitful workshop has been conducted at Meabal Corelia a Richo company; included 19 UG students from all business majors, Faculty of International Business & Humanities, Egypt-Japan University of Science & Technology. The sessions lasted from 10 am to 6:30 PM. The workshop included more than 7 sessions; IT support pilotage, Z/OS history and development, project management, Oracle net suite, cybersecurity blue team, cybersecurity red team, business analysis research center. Many thanks for Dr. Mohammed Mamdouh for his kind invitation & hospitality. Thanks extended to Dr. Ola El Dardery for her significant leadership

The first session, titled: "The Reality of Sports Disputes in the Arab Region and Mechanisms for Their Settlement Internationally and Locally", the session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Yehia Ebeid, Professor of Marketing and Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Humanities - Egyptian-Japanese University of Science and Technology.


The session deals with the following topics: 

- Mutual rights and obligations in some sports contracts and the settlement of their disputes, by Prof. Dr. Saad Shalaby, Executive Director of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club - Professor of Economics and Sports Marketing - Faculty of Physical Education - Mansoura University - Arab Republic of Egypt.

- Classification of sports disputes and mechanisms of their settlement internationally "disputes in employment contracts - disciplinary disputes", by Mr. Nasr El-Din Azzam, member of the International Federation of Football Lawyers and FIFA lecturer of sports law - Cairo University, the arbitrator at the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.

- The role of the state in providing a mechanism for settling sports disputes, by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Midani, Professor of Sports Management, Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for Leadership Development, Vice President of the Arab Association for Sports Management.

The Third Arab Conference on Sports and Law "Mechanisms for Enhancing the Professional Effectiveness of Arab Sports Arbitration Institutions", which is held by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) - League of Arab States, under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports - Arab Republic of Egypt, at the organization's headquarters in Cairo.

She immersed herself in a program to enhance her understanding of governance and social development. She explored various topics led by scholars, visited landmarks showcasing China's achievements, and experienced its rich culture. This transformative experience broadened her perspective and equipped her with valuable insights for future endeavors, which she is eager to apply in advancing governance and social development in Egypt and beyond.

Participation of university students in events held outside their university to acquire new knowledge and skills has become imperative. This is one manifestation of the educational philosophy of the Egyptian-Japan University of Science and Technology. FIBH students actively participated in the activities of the Third Arab Conference on Sports and Law, which is organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization from 28-30 April 2024, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, with the valuable participation of Prof. Dr. Saad Shalaby - Executive Director of Al-Ahly Club, and Her Excellency MP Dr. Walaa Abdel Fattah.

I sincerely appreciate Dr. Ola El-Dardery, Assistant Professor of Accounting at FIBH, who accompanied the team to the final stage of the SU Real Life competition, an international student competition organized annually by the American University in Cairo. 

This competition aims to encourage students to create creative solutions that are applicable to pressing global challenges, such as sustainable development, social impact, and the circular economy. University students from all over the world can apply to participate in the competition.

 The SU Real Life competition offers valuable cash prizes to the winning teams and unique opportunities to network with entrepreneurs and investors and receive mentorship from experts in various fields. This year's 

The American University in Cairo organizes the annual Su Real Life competition within the framework of green entrepreneurship.

During the competition, many lectures and workshops are held to discuss a specific topic, which is green entrepreneurship and how to integrate innovative solutions to solve contemporary problems.
Each participating team submits a brief proposal for solutions, after which a panel of judges examines the proposals to determine which teams will compete during the final stage of the competition, and those teams present their proposals to the jury again.
 
The competition's closing ceremony was held today, Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Prof. Ahmed Ebeid, FIBH dean joined the review team appointed by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, to examine the institutional capabilities and educational effectiveness of the business administration program in English and French at the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University.

congratulates Asser, undergraduate student, for getting the acceptance to have his postgraduate study in Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. Asser is one of FIBH students who accomplished (one academic year/ semester) in the same university under the umbrella of EJEP. Many thanks to Dr. Hebat Allah Abd Alsalam for her kind efforts and concern in this context. This experience is considered from the significant reasons that enables Asser to get such acceptance.

This year, she had the privilege of presenting on the exciting topic of 'AI in Data Analytics for Auditors.' The presentation explored the potential of AI to revolutionize audit processes, and she showcased valuable tools like Blackline, ACL, and IBM Watson that can empower auditors with advanced data analysis capabilities.
